Attention:

If you are planning to participate in a Winter PIAA Sport at Penn Cambria School District for the 2025-2026 school year: (Grades 7-12) Please see below

VERY IMPORTANT:

All physical forms & registration must be completed through Big Teams. For students/families who have never used Big Teams to sign up for sports please see the attached Students & Families New to Big Teams Student Central Help Guide (See attachment) for step-by-step instructions on registering and completing forms.

Winter Sports Offered: (Please make sure you select a sport when doing registration)

PHYSICALS

Student-Athletes that participated in a Fall Sport and have submitted a sports physical, will only be required to submit the Re-Certification page. (Found on Big Teams Account – Under Re-Cert Winter)

If a Student-Athlete did not participate in a Fall Sport and needs a physical, they will be on November 4^th – starting at 3pm in the High School Nurse’s Office. (Section 5 & 6 must be uploaded to Big Teams account for approval)

Update on Travel Forms

Travel forms can now be submitted online through Big Teams! Paper copies are not required

OPTIONS FOR PHYSICALS:

You may obtain a physical from your physician. The cost of physicals is the responsibility of the student athlete.

Students interested in participating in Sports at Penn Cambria must complete all Sports Physical forms electronically through Big Teams Student Central prior to participation. Paper forms will not be accepted.

Winter Practice will commence on Monday, November 17 – All paperwork must be completed by November 14th in order to participate in practice on Monday (No exceptions!)

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: Can I still turn in paper copies of the mandatory forms to the Athletic Office?

A: No. All paperwork must be submitted online via Big Teams Student Central.

Q: Why can’t I fill out the PIAA CIPPE Section 6 online?

A: PIAA CIPPE Section 6 is the actual physical that requires a physician signature, which cannot be done electronically. The form must be downloaded, printed, filled out by your doctor and then uploaded to your Big Teams Student Central account. See instructions in your account.

Q: Do these forms need to be filled out prior to voluntary, off-season workouts?

A: No. All paperwork is due prior to the start of the first official day of practice.
