Penn Cambria Staff and Families,

We are all hopeful that brighter days are ahead as both Pennsylvania and the CDC continue adjusting COVID-related guidance for schools and our communities.

With only a few weeks remaining in the 2020-21 school year, PDE currently recommends school entities continue to follow their current mitigation strategies, including universal masking. Most of our students are either not eligible for vaccination or have just become eligible to begin vaccination in the past few days.

Penn Cambria has been following the board approved Health and Safety Plan and has been able to avoid any long-term building closures this spring. However, we have not been immune to the impact of COVID on our buildings.  Remaining consistent in approach will help to minimize disruptions as we work to ensure students and staff safely finish the year in our classrooms.

As we move into the final three weeks of school filled with many end-of-year activities, we will continue to require masks and 6 feet of social distancing when possible as it relates to school and school related activities.

Thank you and stay safe!
