Dear Parents/Guardians:

During the COVID-19 closure from March – May 2020, the Pennsylvania Department of Education released a waiver to all Pennsylvania School Districts to allow us to provide free breakfasts and lunches for all children up to 18 years of age at no cost.  The Pennsylvania Department of Education has extended the waiver to continue free meals to all students through December 31, 2020.  This means meals will be free for all students, regardless of your status, when students are in the school setting.  In addition, free meals will also be available for remote learning days and for students in the PC Cyber Academy.

Group A students will have the ability to order breakfasts and lunches for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday for free. Group A students will take their ordered meals home with them at dismissal on Tuesdays.

Group B students will have the ability to order breakfasts and lunches for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Group B students will take their breakfast for Monday home on Friday at dismissal and then will pick up breakfasts and lunches for the remaining days at the school most convenient for pick up on Mondays from 9:30-10:30 AM.  Pick up locations will be the High School, Middle School, and Intermediate School.

PC Cyber Academy students will have the ability to orders breakfasts and lunches for every weekday with pickup on Mondays and Wednesdays.  PC Cyber Academy students will pick up breakfast and lunches for Monday & Tuesday on Mondays and breakfasts and lunches for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday on Wednesdays.  Pick up locations will be whichever school is located most convenient to your home from 9:30-10:30 AM.

All meals must be pre-ordered by using the live Google Doc form on the Penn Cambria website or you can call in your order to 814.886.7753 option 1 if you do not have internet access.  The deadline to order meals will be on Wednesday at 3 PM for the following week.  The first cut-off date for meals for the first week of school will be on Wednesday, September 9th.

Any student with dietary restrictions must submit all necessary diet modification paperwork to the school nurse to accommodate those requests.

The first week to order meals for remote and PA Cyber Academy learning will be for the week of September 14th, 2020.
