Grade 5 students at Penn Cambria Middle School will participate in Too Good for Drugs (TGFD), an evidenced-based prevention program that teaches children skills for living healthy, drug-free lives. The nine-session program will be implemented during Study Hall/Study Skills classes this fall with a trained facilitator from the Learning Lamp. The program teaches goal setting, decision making, communication, peer pressure refusal, and wellness skills.  Information about the program and anonymous surveys used in the program is being sent home with fifth grade students during the opening week of school.
