Student Assistance Available The Penn Cambria Assistance Team (Penn CAT) is a group of school and agency staff that is available to help students deal with problems that are stopping them from doing well in school or stressing them out. Anyone can refer someone for assistance. You can ask for help for yourself or for a friend. Teachers and other school staff who are concerned about students can also make referrals. You can go directly to someone who is on the team to ask for help. If you are worried about talking to your parents/guardians about your problems, somone on the Penn CAT team will help you talk to them. The Penn CAT staff will respect you and your parent's privacy at all times. No one other than the members on the team, who will need to be informed, will know that you are involved in the Student Assistance Program. Penn CAT is here to support you.
