4Sight Pennsylvania Benchmark Assessment Students in grades three through eleven will be participating in the Pennsylvania 4Sight Pennsylvania Benchmark Assessment program during the 2010-2011 school year. The Pennsylvania 4Sight Benchmark Assessments are aligned to the PSSA and provide an estimate of student performance on the PSSA as well as valuable information used to target areas with which students may be struggling. The data gained from the assessments will be used to guide classroom/tutoring instruction and professional development efforts. Each item on the 4Sight assessments addresses a Pennsylvania Academic Standard and/or Assessment Anchor. The students will be taking the assessments in Reading and Math. The tests will be given three times during the school year. Each testing session is only 60 minutes per subject. Throughout the school year, you will be receiving 4Sight score and progress reports for your child.
