Monday, April 17, 2017 (Easter Monday) is now an instructional day for staff and students.
BrightBytes Technology Survey
This spring, students across grades 3-12 will be completing a short survey so that we can learn more about our school’s technology use for student learning. Our goal is to gather data that will allow us to better plan for instruction and resources. This BrightBytes survey is anonymous and is being funded through Appalachia IU8. Please visit the building websites for more information about how the survey is administered in each building. If you would like to view a copy of the survey tool, please contact the building principal.
Pre-K Counts Accepting Applications for 2017-2018
Penn Cambria Pre-K Counts is currently accepting applications for the 17-18 school year. There will also be an open house on Thursday, March 30, 2017 for interested families from 4-7 pm at PC Pre-Primary. The deadline for applications is April 11, 2017. Please see the link to Pre-K Counts on the left for an application and more information.

When Penn Cambria has a Cancelation or Delay, we relay the information to the local TV Stations. Both WJAC out of Johnstown, PA and WTAJ out of Altoona PA offer Text Alerts for News and Weather Alerts.

PCSD Wins Literacy Award
Penn Cambria School District was named a 2016 Innovation Incentive Award Winner for our efforts to improve and sustain literacy achievement through the Keystones to Opportunity grant program. Congratulations to our students and our staff for all of their work!

Manage your Childs Breakfast and Lunch Account - My School Account
Monitor your children’s lunchtime purchases, track what your children have been eating for the past 30 days, make deposits directly into their meal accounts, and have an email reminder sent to you when an account balance gets low. Student debit account deposits can be made through ACH payments. Each child’s account will be updated nightly so that account balance information and payments will be current as of the following day.

Online Gradebook Access
Parent access to the MMS Gradebook program for PCMS and PCHS is now available! Click on the MMS Gradebook link for directions to access this system.
Due to increased congestion in the area, Cresson Borough will be strictly enforcing the No Parking restrictions along 4th street adjacent to the stadium both during athletic events and during the school day.
We remind our students, community members and fans that to avoid the fines associated with illegal parking along 4th Street please park elsewhere during school hours and at after-school events utilizing the stadium and auditorium.
4Sight Pennsylvania Benchmark Assessment
Students in grades three through eight will be participating in the Pennsylvania 4Sight Pennsylvania Benchmark Assessment program during the school year.
Jobulator for Subs using Aesop
This new product is a computer widget that was designed to notify substitutes of available positions in Aesop right from their desktop. This piece of software alleviates the need to log in to or call Aesop multiple times a day to search for available positions.
